El Presidente José Antonio Kast designó al general de Aviación Máximo Venegas Raggio como nuevo jefe del Estado Mayor Conjunto (EMCO), cargo que ejercerá durante los próximos dos años. La autoridad, de 59 años, reemplazará al general Leonardo Romanini, quien asumió como nuevo comandante en jefe de la Fuerza Aérea de Chile (FACh).
