Giorgetti says expects Italy rating to be confirmed, Mideast crisis doesn't help
(ANSA) - ROME, 27 OTT - Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said Tesday he expects Italy's rating to be confirmed by Standard & Poor's shortly although the Middle East crisis doesn't help. "I believe the rating will likely be confirmed. Naturally, one might dream of something else, but I am a realist—and, unfortunately, the crisis in the Middle East does not help us envision or hope for a different outcome," said Giorgetti at the 'Festival di Moneta,' referring to the upcoming review of Italy's sovereign rating by S&P Global Ratings.
