UCJ appoints Professor Colin Gyles as executive director
The University Council of Jamaica (UCJ) has announced the appointment of Professor Colin Gyles as its new Executive Director, effective November 2. Professor Gyles brings extensive experience in higher education, academic leadership, institutional development, and both strategic and operational management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry from The University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, and was promoted to the rank of Full Professor of Applied Sciences in 2013.
