Low voter turnout in presidential election run-off in Türkiye
Low turnout marked election day in Türkiye once again, with expectations of greater interest in the second round of the presidential election remaining unmet so far, BNR special correspondent Maria Petrova reports. Empty corridors and periods when not a single voter turned up once again characterised election day in Türkiye. As of 4 p.m., just over 2,000 voters had cast their ballots at polling stations in Thrace, around 1,600 in Bursa, nearly 1,800 in Istanbul and approximately 1,100 in Izmir. Edited by Miglena Ivanova
