Six people have died and another sustained serious injuries following a head-on collision involving a Sino truck and a Toyota Wish in Chikankata District. The accident occurred on October 25, 2026, at around 11:10 hours opposite Lusitu Farm, approximately 15 kilometres south of Chikankata Police Station along the Great North Road between Chikankata and Mazabuka.
