Taipei, Nov. 6 (CNA) The Legislature on Friday passed amendments raising the monthly allowance for senior farmers from NT$8,110 (US$256) to NT$15,000 and easing eligibility requirements, with the changes taking effect retroactively from July 1, 2026.
