Drones Hit Bashneft-Novoil Refinery in Ufa
Long-range Ukrainian strike drones targeted the northern industrial hub of Ufa in Russia’s Republic of Bashkortostan overnight into Saturday, Oct. 31, igniting a major fire at the “Bashneft-Novoil” oil refinery and reportedly engaging the neighboring Bashneft-UNPZ plant. Flames engulfed the L-35 catalytic reforming unit, which produces high-octane gasoline reformate and hydrogen for desulfurization.
How sure are we
Two or more outlets reported this story and its reliability score reached 65%, so WorldPulse marks it verified. That means more than one outlet says so, not that it is proven true.
Who reported it
[Claude] Back to pending: the other outlets reported a different event. Report 2 describes a separate strike on the Novokuibyshevsk refinery in Samara, not the Ufa Bashneft-Novoil refinery attack in Report 1, so the two reports are not about the same event.
