The island of Kauai in Kauai County * Until 245 PM HST. * At 1145 AM HST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain falling over the eastern slopes of Mt. Waialeale with additional heavy rain moving into the leeward side of the island. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour.
