Commission launches T-MED Investment Platform with up to €4.5 billion in EU guarantees
European Commission Press release Brussels, 26 Oct 2026 Today, the European Commission launched the T-MED Investment Platform, to mobilise large-scale investment in renewable energy and clean technologies across the Mediterranean. The platform is a key component of the Trans-Mediterranean Renewable Energy and Clean Tech Cooperation Initiative (T-MED), a flagship initiative of the Pact for the Mediterranean.
